The North Liberty City Council met in regular session in Council Chambers. Mayor Mekota called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Council members present: Bahl, Gardiner, Moody, Salm and Soukup.
Also present were Brian James, Mary K. Mitchell and Bob O’Rear.
Bob’s Place Outdoor Service Area. Council discussed with Bob O’Rear his request for a five-day Outdoor Service Area permit to be attached to the Class C Liquor license for Bob’s Place to accommodate the expected 350 Memorial Bike Ride participants. Salm moved, seconded by Moody, to approve a Special Event permit for Bob’s Place for Sunday, September 5, 2004. After discussion, the vote was: ayes—Bahl, Gardiner, Moody, Salm, Soukup; nays—none. Motion carried.
Gardiner moved, seconded by Bahl, to approve the five-day Outdoor Service Area permit for Bob’s Place. After discussion, the vote was: ayes—Bahl, Gardiner, Moody, Salm, Soukup; nays—none. Motion carried.
515 West Penn Street Property. Moody moved, seconded by Bahl, to adopt Resolution No. 04-112, RESOLUTION APPROVING AND RATIFYING THE PURCHASE OF A 1.94 ACRE PARCEL OF PROPERTY FROM STREB AND STREB, AN IOWA PARTNERSHIP. After discussion, the vote was: ayes—Bahl, Gardiner, Moody, Salm, Soukup; nays—none. Motion carried.
Adjournment. Bahl moved, seconded by Soukup, to adjourn the meeting at 5:55 p.m. Motion carried.
