At 7:03 p.m., Mayor Pro-tem Kuhl called the meeting to order.
Council members present: Bahl, Kuhl, Moody, Salm, Wozniak.
Others present: Acting City Administrator Tracey Mulcahey, City Attorney Scott Peterson, Tommy Haines, Lori Lindner, Hiu Pham, and other interested citizens.
Moody moved, Bahl seconded to approve the agenda with allowance for public comment. The vote was: ayes – Kuhl, Bahl, Wozniak, Moody, Salm; nays — none. Motion carried.
Discussion was held regarding setting a special election regarding the petition for the new form of government. The notice regarding the special election will be published on April 18, 2007. The special election regarding the change in the form of government to council – manager – ward from mayor – council will take place on June 12, 2007.
Moody moved, Bahl seconded to set the date for the special election regarding the petition to change the form of government. After discussion, the vote was: ayes – Moody, Bahl, Wozniak, Kuhl, Salm; nays – none. Motion carried.
Council discussed the possibility of appointing or holding a special election to fill the Mayoral vacancy.

Moody moved, Salm seconded to approve publication of the notice that Council intends to appoint for the Mayoral vacancy. After discussion, the vote was: ayes – Salm, Moody, Wozniak, Kuhl; nays – Bahl. Motion carried.
At 7:35 p.m., Moody moved, Salm seconded to adjourn. All ayes. Meeting adjourned.
