Mayor Tom Salm called the special session of the City of North Liberty City Council at 6:00 p.m.
Council members present: Kuhl, Moody, Wozniak, Wilkerson. Absent: Bahl.
Others present: Scott Peterson, Tracey Mulcahey, Adam Beecher, Dee Crowner, Laura Kuhl, Jennie Garner, Laura Bergus, Janet Lubben, Brian Motley, Matt Fielder, Larry Trout, Don Colony, Dan Lange, Elaine Reitz, Matt Meseck, Paul Osterholt, Deb Hilton, Will Taylor, Brian Hamer, Tim Hamer, Guy Goldsmith, Becky Crowder, Beth Tatarko and other interested citizens.
Agenda. Kuhl moved, Wilkerson seconded to approve the agenda. The vote was: ayes — Wilkerson, Kuhl, Moody, Wozniak; nays – none; absent — Bahl. Motion carried.
Public Comment. Brian Motley, Assistant Recreation Director, stated that the Rec Department as a whole is pretty dead on with where the department thought they would be.
Position Classification and Compensation Study. Becky Crowder, President of The Austin Peters Group, presented the results of her firm’s study of the City’s compensation structure. Discussion was held with Council and the consultant regarding the proposed study.
Old Business. None was presented.
New Business. Councilor Moody reminded Councilors that the League of Cities is being held in Dubuque in September.
At 7:00 p.m., Moody moved, Bahl seconded to adjourn. All ayes. Meeting adjourned.
