Mayor Tom Salm called the special meeting of the North Liberty City Council to order at p.m.

Council members present: Kuhl, Moody, Wilkerson, Wozniak. Absent: Bahl.

Others present: Acting City Administrator Mulcahey, Paul Osterholt, and Adam Beecher.

Mulcahey presented detail regarding proposed list of bills. Moody moved, Kuhl seconded to approve payment of the attached list of bills. After discussion, the vote was: ayes — Wilkerson, Kuhl, Moody, Wozniak; absent – Bahl; nays – none. Motion carried.

Discussion was held regarding the applications for renewal of cigarette permits for Cigarette Outlet, Quail Creek Golf Course, and Bob’s Place. Discussion was held regarding approval of cigarette permits. Moody moved, Wilkerson seconded to approve the cigarette permits. After discussion the vote was: ayes – Moody, Kuhl, Wozniak, Wilkerson; nays – none; absent — Bahl. Motion carried.

Mayor Salm reported on current Census number release. Osterholt reported North Liberty was the second fastest growing city in Iowa. Close to 10,000 people according to the Press Citizen.

At 7:09 p.m., Moody moved Kuhl seconded to adjourn. All ayes. Meeting adjourned.
