Mayor Pro-tem Kuhl called the special session of the City of North Liberty City Council at 6:16 p.m.

Council members present: Bahl, Kuhl, Moody, Salm. Absent: Wozniak.

Others present: Scott Peterson, Tracey Mulcahey, Andy Kromphardt and other interested citizens.

Agenda. Moody moved, Bahl seconded to approve the agenda with removal of item number three, “City Administrator Status” being stricken. After discussion, the vote was: ayes — Kuhl, Bahl, Moody, Salm; nays – none; absent — Wozniak. Motion carried.

Acceptance of Mayor Franker’s Resignation. Moody moved, Salm seconded to approve Resolution Number 07-65, A Resolution Accepting Mayor Franker’s Resignation Effective March 29, 2007. The vote was: ayes – Moody, Bahl, Kuhl, Salm; nays – none; absent – Wozniak. Motion carried.

City Attorney Peterson presented information regarding the process for filling the vacancy. The item will be on the April 10 agenda for further consideration.

At 6:25 p.m., Moody moved, Bahl seconded to adjourn. All ayes. Meeting adjourned.
