February 10, 2010
Regular Session

At 4:30 p.m., Chairperson Lee called the Regular Session of the North Liberty Board of Appeals to order.

Members present: Lee, Hajek, Kazmierczak and Colony.
Others present: Tom Palmer, Building Official.

Chairperson opened the hearing to review Parts 4, 6, 7 and 9 of the Significant Changes to the 2009 International Residential Code. With no public comments the Chairperson closed the hearing.
Colony moved, Hajek seconded to accept Part 4 of the Significant Changes to the 2009 International Residential Code and require verification at final inspection of the energy efficiency certificate placard required by N1101.9 and fifty percent of the permanently installed lighting fixtures shall be high-efficacy lamps required by N1104. Motion passed unanimously.

Kazmierczak moved, Hajek seconded to accept Parts 6, 7 and 9 of the Significant Changes to the 2009 International Residential Code. Motion passed unanimously.
The Board will hold a meeting March 3rd, 2010 at 4:30 pm to begin reviewing Part 3 of the Significant Changes to the 2009 International Residential Code.

Kazmierczak moved, Colony seconded to approve the minutes of January 27th, 2010 meeting. Motion passed unanimously.

Meeting adjourned at 5:30 p.m.
