Highway 965 sporadically reduced to single lane Friday, new project starts Monday

Some additional work on Highway 965 north of Scales Bend Road will take place on Friday, Aug. 9, that will require traffic to be reduced to a single lane with flaggers for parts of the day.
Additionally, a new project on Highway 965 (technically Phase 2A), which will widen lanes and remove some traffic island between Penn Street and Fairview Lane, will begin Monday, Aug. 12. The work is starting on the north end and is not expected to immediately affect drivers. This project is expected to continue until the end of construction season in November.
