There will be work affecting several North Liberty roads in the coming week due to ongoing public improvements:
- Temporary signals will be re-installed at Penn Street and Alexander Way. They are expected to go into opperation as soon as they are fully installed. These signals are expected to remain in place for the remainder of Highway 965 Phase 2.
- 230th Street will be closed for widening, also part of Highway 965 upgrades. The widening is expected to take two weeks. Once the widening is complete, it will serve as a detour for the Highway 965 project.
- Traffic on South Front Street, near Abigail Avenue and Van Allen Elementary, will be shifted to the west side of Front Street on
the afternoon of Tuesday, April 21,Friday, April 24, weather permitting, so crews can install sewer pipe under the eastern portion of the roadway.
Details about these projects can be found at northlibertyiowa.org/projects.
