City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Recreation, library and community programming brochure for fall 2015 available

cover Community Center brochure Fall 2015 The North Liberty Community Center’s fall 2015 brochure, covering program and events held September through December, is now available. Copies will be available online, at the Community Center and in the upcoming issue of the NoJoCo newspaper.
Registration for most programs begins Monday, Aug. 3. Most programs begin the week of Aug. 31.
The cover features the annual Doggie Paddle, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 11. Additional highlights include Halloween events such as the annual Moonlight Hayrack Ride and Movie at the Colony Pumpkin Patch on Oct. 9 and 10 and Haunted Happenings on Oct. 29 and 30, the North Liberty Fun Run 5K on Sept. 20, a variety of youth programs such as Li’l Chefs, Mini Cakes and holiday crafts. Also included in a brand-new outdoor soccer program and other youth sports.
Programs fill quickly, so register early.
The North Liberty Community Library highlights its new “Womb Literacy” efforts, a collection of programs encouraging and supporting new and expecting parents and their children to form reading habits early.
The library also highlights its visit from author Jamie Wood on Oct. 19, waffle breakfast on Oct. 24 and a Downton Abbey Tea on Dec. 6.
