Road construction: Dubuque Street Trail reopens, but continued caution encouraged

The section of the Dubuque Street Trail, closed for work related to the construction of Liberty High School, has reopened. However, users are encouraged to exercise caution as crews continue to work around the immediate area over the next several weeks.
Additionally, reports the school’s contractor, the entrances to the site will continue to see “significant activity” for the duration of the project. Liberty High School is scheduled to open in the fall of 2017.
Drivers, cyclists, runners and other recreators are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
