The City of North Liberty has a number of projects planned for this year and invites the public to an open house to learn more about the plans, meet engineers and staff, and ask questions about the projects.
The open house will be held on Thursday, Feb. 18, from 4:30 to 6 p.m., in the North Liberty Community Library’s meeting rooms.
Projects that will be presented include:

  • Readying Roads for Liberty road work at Dubuque Street and North Liberty Road
  • Decongesting Penn Street
  • Forevergreen Road and Interstate 380 developments
  • A revised parks plan and Penn Meadows Park and Centennial Park upgrades
  • Water treatment plant expansion and upgrades to increase capacity for continued growth

There will be no formal presentation. Rather, the public is invited to come any time during the open house that is convenient.
