Taekwondo classes now offered four nights a week

Classes in Taekwondo, the Korean martial art, will be available four nights a week at through the North Liberty Community Center starting in February.
On Monday and Thursday nights, from 5 to 6:30 starting in February, Oscar Perez, Second Dan TKDCCBBA, of Chol Choe’s Academy, teaches self-control, self-confidence, discipline, courtesy and self-defense.
On Tuesday and Wednesday nights, from 5:30 to 6:30 (for children) 6:30 to 7:30 (for adults), Masters Shawn Story and Nick Messersmith, teach respect, discipline and self control with kicks, blocks, hand strikes and forms for their respective levels.
