Road Closure: North Liberty Road north of Dubuque Street

On Monday, March 14, weather permitting, North Liberty Road, from Dubuque Street to Oak Lane, is expected to close to traffic. This closure is for work to pave the road in preparation of the opening of Liberty High School. Traffic will be detoured from Penn Street along Juniper Street to Dubuque Street.

This precedes additional closures expected this year. The next closure is expected in mid-April, when the construction of the southern half of a roundabout at Dubuque Street and North Liberty Road will prevent access to North Liberty Road from Dubuque Street.
