Join Senior Dining for free on June 24
The North Liberty Senior Council will offer its Senior Dining program for free at 11:30 a.m. on June 24, at the North Liberty Community Center, 520 W Cherry St., as an opportunity for local seniors to try out the program. The program, which offers a meal and activity each Friday, regularly costs $4 per person.
The June 24 program will feature food from Yang Chow Wok and a presentation from Becky Martin and Marcie Droll-Durian on their business Your Life Savors.
The weekly Senior Dining program promises good food, good friends, good fun. Each Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., the program offers lunch from a rotating selection of local restaurants. To participate in the free or regular program, seniors should make reservation with the Recreation Center’s front desk in person or by calling (319) 626-5016.
