City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Stefan at workThe city’s communications department is looking for a new member (technically a full-time “communications specialist”).

This position is responsible for the city’s video production, including live public meeting coverage, social media, public events and service announcements, and scheduling as well as other communications functions. Good candidates are creative self-starters with a passion for the community, and good troubleshooting abilities. The communication’s department runs the city’s cable channel, website, social media, print, outreach initiatives (including special events) and our team has the opportunity and expectation to pursue projects that show off, improve and serve North Liberty and its community. We require a bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or a related field, and candidates must be available to work some nights and weekends. You can find the job description here. Pay range is $19.23 to $20.64 per hour ($39,998 to $42,931 per year), dependent on qualifications, and we offer excellent benefits.
