City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Pentecost named streets superintendent

michael-pentacost Michael Pentecost was named the City of North Liberty’s streets superintendent by the City Council, effective today. Pentecost has been with the City of North Liberty since 2001, most recently as assistant water superintendent.

“Michael has been a valuable member of our team for more than a decade,” said City Administrator Ryan Heiar. “He brings public works experience, a strong work ethic and a deep knowledge of North Liberty.”

The Streets Department is tasked with a wide array of public works projects, including street maintenance, repair and construction; traffic safety and controls; snow removal; storm and waste water collection; as well as leaf and limb collection.
