City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Mayor and City Council adopt new goals, confirm on-going commitments and acknowledge major accomplishments

The North Liberty City Council and Mayor adopted its finalized Goal Setting and Accomplishment Report by resolution on February 27, 2018. The biannual report acknowledges accomplishments, confirms on-going commitments, sets additional goals and lays out items to improve organizational effectiveness.

The elected officials identified the following additional priorities for 2018 and 2019:

1 (Tie) Develop over-arching strategic plan, including community identity and vision planning
1 (Tie) Develop a master plan for the Front Street, Dubuque Street, and Cherry Street intersection
1 (Tie) Conduct housing market inventory/needs analysis
1 (Tie) Update Park Plan, including recreation
5 (Tie) Street and sidewalk improvements on North Bend Drive from Centro to   Dubuque St intersection (related to new Grant Elementary School)
5 (Tie) Inventory sidewalks and accessibility of network to ensure people can physically get around
