Aquatic Center HVAC Replacement
RFP Overview
Sealed Bids for the construction of the North Liberty Aquatic Center Pool Water Heater Replacement project will be received by City of North Liberty, at North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle, until 2:00 p.m. local time on June 1, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The bids will be considered by the City Council at a meeting to be held at the North Liberty City Administration Building, 3 Quail Creek Circle at 6:30 p.m. local time on June 8, 2021, or at such later time and place as may then be fixed.
The Project will involve the replacement of the existing water heaters serving the indoor and outdoor swimming pools and other related work as follows: General plumbing upgrades, electrical work, a new building addition and, miscellaneous work as shown on the drawings.
A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting shall be held at 3:00 pm on May 19, 2021 at the North Liberty Aquatic Center, 520 West Cherry Street, North Liberty, Iowa.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Shive-Hattery, Inc., 2839 Northgate Drive, Iowa City, IA 52245, 319-354-3040. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

There is no deposit for the plans and specifications, but there is a shipping charge (UPS) of $40.00 made payable to DB Reprographics, Inc. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
