Knight Riders is in its second summer and designed to get young adults active this summer on their bikes and in their community!
The program will be held Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for those entering sixth through ninth grades. Participants will need a working bike and helmet for their travels in North Liberty and Coralville area. Mornings will be spent with community service projects and self-improvement. Afternoons will be spent swimming, playing games, participating in outdoor activities and going on field trips.
This program is designed for the participants to be an active part of the program planning process and to develop activities that excite and motivate them. This is a great way to give something back to your community, meet new friends, and have fun this summer! While the Community Center will be the home base for the Knight Riders, participants should be prepared to ride five to 10 miles each day.
Each Tuesday, we’ve planned a field trip.
