The City of North Liberty offers financial assistance to a variety of social service agencies serving North Liberty residents including:

Family Resource Center at Van Allen Elementary, Penn Elementary and Garner Elementary

North Liberty Community Pantry

Each One, Reach One

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Johnson County Housing Trust Fund

Summer Lunch and Fun

Additionally, the North Liberty City Council has allocated additional funds for other social service programs or projects.

For the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2016, $11,000 are available for contributions. In FY2016, there are two deadlines for funding. Applications for the fall round are due Sept. 30, 2015, with funding awarded on Oct. 13, 2016; $5,000 will be available. Applications for the spring round are due Dec. 30, 2015, with the funding awarded on Jan. 12, 2016.

Requests should be made via the Social Services Funding Application for FY2016. Applicants are encouraged to contract city clerk Tracey Mulcahey at (319) 626-5712 or prior to completing the applications.
