Family Survival Guide Available for Parents of Missing Children

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the May 2004 update of "When Your Child Is Missing: A Family Survival Guide."

The Guide is the third edition of an OJJDP Report that was first published in 1998 and first updated in 2002. The newly updated Guide contains expanded information on the AMBER Alert Plan and describes NCMEC's Family Advocacy Division and Team Adam.

The Guide, which provides parents with insights into what families should do when a child is missing, was written by parents and family members who have experienced the disappearance of a child firsthand.
