There are five hospitals within ten miles of North Liberty. The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is the largest public teaching hospital in the United States and is the tertiary care hospital for the State of Iowa. Mercy Medical Center is located in Cedar Rapids, as is St. Luke's Hospital. Iowa City is home to Mercy Hospital. There is also a Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City.
