Snow Emergency Information
The Snow Emergency Ordinance has been updated as of September 2008.
* A snow emergency can be declared by the City Mayor (or designee) at his/her discretion, or will automatically go into effect when snow accumulation reaches two inches.* These conditions make it necessary that motor vehicle traffic be expedited and that parking on City streets be restricted for snow plowing or other purposes.
THE FOLLOWING PARKING REGULATIONS SHALL BE IN EFFECT DURING SNOW EMERGENCIES:1. During snow emergencies there is no parking allowed on ANY streets.
2. Any vehicles in violation of the above regulations may be ticketed and/or towed without notice. (A Snow emergency ticket is $25.)
When the snow emergency is lifted, it will be posted on www.north-liberty.org as soon as practicable.
