The City of North Liberty has a number of projects planned for this year and invites the public to an open house to learn more about the plans, meet engineers and staff, and ask questions about the projects.
The open house will be held on Tuesday, March 31, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in the North Liberty Community Library’s meeting rooms.
Projects that will be presented include:
- Penn Meadows Park upgrades, including bathrooms, a concession stand, picnic shelter and splash pad
- North Liberty recreation trail resurfacing, re-grading and upgrades
- Waste water treatment plant expansion to increase capacity for continued growth
- Water and waste water infrastructure upgrades and expansion
- The completion of upgrades to Highway 965 north of Penn Street
There will be no formal presentation. Rather, the public is invited to come any time during the open house that is convenient.
