New and popular programs highlighted in the Summer 2018 activity guide

North Liberty’s summer activity guide, covering programs from May through August 2018, is now available. Registration for most programs starts April 2.

The guide highlights aquatic programmings for competitive swimming, including adult and youth triathlon clinics, stroke development and a recreational swim team. The guide also highlights some of the great, summer-long offerings from the recreation center: Outdoor and Nature Education — or O.N.E. — Packs, which provide take-with-you actives around nature themes; fishing pole rental; discounted amusement tickets and geocaching equipment.

The guide also highlights offerings happening throughout May for Older Americans Month. The offerings include social hour each Monday, Lunch Bunch each Tuesday, an activity and popcorn each Wednesday and Senior Dining each Friday.

Special events coming this summer include Free Fishing Weekend, the Slow Roll family bike ride, a teen pool night, Blues & BBQ, Just Tri youth triathlon, a movie on the pool deck, and the Doggie Plunge. For a calendar of special events throughout North Liberty, including those in the seasonal guide, visit our events calendar.

Registration for most programs begins April 2 and will be available online, in person and by mail. Download it here.
