City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Man Charged with Indecent Exposure and Indecent Contact

Andrew Oberbroeckling, age 31, of North Liberty was identified and charged with four counts of indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor, and two counts of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor. He was booked into the Johnson County Jail. This investigation is ongoing.

The North Liberty Police Department appreciates the help from the public in calling in tips and helping to identify this individual.

The North Liberty Police Department was assisted by the Department of Human Services, Johnson County Attorney’s Office, North Liberty Parks Department and the Johnson County Joint Emergency Communications.

The charges filed in this case are merely accusations. The defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
