Closure: Dubuque Street at Penn Street

Beginning Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019, Dubuque Street will be closed on the south side of Penn Street. Additionally, the sidewalk along Penn Street’s south side will be closed. Traffic on Penn Street will not be impacted by this closure.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to make street and sidewalk repairs. The closure is expected to last through Sept. 13.

During the closure, traffic will be detoured through the newly rebuilt intersection of Penn and Front streets, and down Main Street to Cherry Street.

Drivers are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible. Details and updates on this and other North Liberty construction projects are available at northlibertyiowa.org/projects.
