After continued consultation with local medical, public health and emergency management officials, Iowa City Mayor Bruce Teague, Coralville Mayor John Lundell and North Liberty Mayor Terry Donahue urge residents to take all necessary precautions to stay healthy in effort to assist our local healthcare providers as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hours Announced for Presidents Day 2020

On Monday, Feb. 17, the city’s administrative offices, including City Hall at 3 Quail Creek Circle, will be closed for Presidents’ Day. Other services will be closed or have adjusted hours as follows.

Library

The North Liberty Community Library will be closed and regularly scheduled programs will not take place.

Police

Administrative offices will be closed, but patrol will operate as normal.

Fire

Administrative offices will be closed, but responses will operate as normal.

Recreation & Aquatics

Administrative offices will be closed, but recreation and aquatic services be open regular hours from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Before and after school care will operate as normal.

Trash and Recycling

Trash, recycling, yard waste and compost will be collected on their regular schedule.
