City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Park and Recreation Commission Vacancy to be Filled

The Park and Recreation Commission will have an vacancy to fill the remainder of a term that end on June 30, 2021. The Mayor and City Council will appoint a volunteer to fill this opening after the closing of applications on March 13.

The Park and Recreation Commission helps plan for the continuing development of parks and recreation facilities in North Liberty. They also set policies for operation of those facilities. This volunteer commission meets monthly, usually in the evening on the first Thursday of each month. Full appointments are for a three-year term.

Applications are available online or at City Hall, 3 Quail Creek Circle. Applications are due March 13, 2020. Completed applications can be mailed to City Hall; c/o City Clerk; P.O. Box 77; North Liberty, IA 52317; in person at City Hall or by email at [email protected].
