City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Recreation Summer Camp and Facility Rental Registration Starts April 1

Registration for Recreation Department summer camps and facility rentals from May through August is set to open at 6 a.m. on April 1.

Due to COVID-19-related closures and social distancing measures, the department will not accept in-person registration. Online registration is preferred at northliberty.recdesk.com. For those without internet access, limited staff will be available for registration by calling (319) 626-5716 at 6 a.m. Payments by credit or debit card is required at time of registration for summer camps, but families needing additional consideration should contact the Recreation Department by phone.

Summer Camps

Starting at 6 a.m. on April 1, online registration is available for summer camps junior counselors and Knight Riders held weekly June 1 through Aug. 7, 2020. Facility Rentals

Starting at 6 a.m. on April 1, online reservations for facilities, including meeting rooms, gym and  pools, from May through August, is available.
