Now Registering for October Recreation Offerings

Through the fall, North Liberty’s Recreation Department will offer programming month by month, with registration for any in-person classes opening the first Monday of the proceeding month. All programming is tentative, and registration is required.

Classes tentatively scheduled for October include: Tippi Toes Dance, Aqua Boot Camp, Barre, Body Blast, Easy Does It, Body Sculpt, Zumba, Aqua Zumba, Lil Chefs, Aqua Aerobics and Toning, Pee Wee Soccer, Water Resistance, Recsters All Day, Halloween Moonlight Walks, and Swimming Lessons. Staff is currently exploring COVID-friendly options for Pumpkin Carving and Painting and Haunted Happenings.

The Recreation Department currently operates weekdays from 6:15 a.m. to 9 p.m. Patrons with a current membership can reserve specific time slots for use of the lap lanes, weight and cardio equipment, track and gymnasiums, each with limited capacities. Sign up at northliberty.recdesk.com. If you are experiencing issues, please feel free to contact the staff at (319) 626-5716 for assistance.

The facility is operating under strict COVID-19 protocols which requires those in the building to wear masks, answer health screening questions and have their temperature checks. Participants must be on class roster to be allowed into a class. Limited capacity of patrons will be allowed in each class/program as there are other areas of the facility being utilized.

Recreation staff ask ask that patrons bring only personal items, including their own water, arrive no more than five minutes prior to class times and leave immediately after class.
