COVID-19 Mitigation & Safety Protocols

Safety protocol remains in place for our patrons. This mitigation includes requiring face masks at all times, social distancing, limiting large gatherings and practicing proper hygiene, such as frequent hand washing. Please: stay home if you’re sick. Everyone will be health screened upon arrival with health questions and temperature checks. Participants must be on class roster to enter into a class and facility users must be registered for specific time slots for use of such areas as track, weight and exercise, lap swim and gymnasiums. There is no drop-in use. Restrooms remain open for use, but main locker rooms will have limited access, with showers closed at this time. Patrons who are not following protocols will not be permitted into the facility, class or program. Patrons are asked to arrive with limited personal items, five minutes prior to class times, and leave immediately after use, class or program. Please bring own water bottle as drinking fountains remain closed.

Recdesk, Registration & Online Accounts

We have switched to primarily online operations for registrations and reservations, and rec staff are available to help patrons through this process. If you do not have internet access, we have a terminal in our lobby for patron use, in addition to appointment times available by calling the North Liberty Library at (319) 626-5701. Please make sure you have an online account at northliberty.recdesk.com. A video walking you through steps of registering online account, visit northlibertyiowa.org/recreation. Currently we require online registrations and do not permit drop-ins. Please review program notes and expectations at time of registration as classes may be altered with fewer participants, safety protocols or other COVID19 measures. Please select the Programs button, to see programs currently taking registration or in session.
