City Hall Closed Wednesday, April 24, for Move

City Hall will be closed on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, so staff can move from the current, leased offices to the new, permanent building.

The final day of operations at 3 Quail Creek Center will be Tuesday, April 23.

City Hall will reopen at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m. on Thursday, April 25.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Good Neighbor Meeting for Property West of Community Drive and South of Penn Street

The City may soon consider a zoning map amendment (rezoning) on 2.46 acres, more or less, from C-2A Highway Commercial District to C-2A PAD Highway Commercial District Planned Area Development on property located on the west side of Community Drive approximately 240 feet south of West Penn Street. The purpose of the request is to build a multiple-family residential building and standalone commercial building.

No formal staff review of the proposed rezoning has been completed, nor have Planning Commission or City Council considered the request.  However, the rezoning may be considered as early as April 6, 2021 by the Planning Commission.
