Candidate Information for Nov. 2, 2021, Regular City Election

A regular election will be held on Nov. 2, 2021, to elect a mayor and two city councilors in North Liberty. The seats are currently filled by Mayor Terry Donahue and councilors Anne Pollock and Brian Wayson, with all terms expiring Dec. 31.

Candidates can file beginning Aug. 23, and must file by 5 p.m., Sept. 16, 2019, at the Johnson County Auditor’s Office, 913 S. Dubuque St., Suite 101, Iowa City. 25 valid signatures are required.

Local, state and federal elections throughout Johnson County, including North Liberty, are the responsibility of the Johnson County Auditor’s Office. North Liberty encourages residents to register and vote as a way to participate in their government. The county auditor has detailed information about this election online.
