Meet Your Neighbors Sept. 28

As declared by Mayor Donahue in 2020, Good Neighbor Day is every Sept. 28 in North Liberty, and several Neighborhood Ambassadors have made plans to celebrate from 5:30 to 7 p.m. that evening.

These casual meetups and activities are intended for the residents of the particular neighborhood. Masks are expected if distancing is not possible. If a meetup isn’t currently planned for your neighborhood, consider taking the reigns and invite your neighbors to socialize safely outside on someone’s driveway or nearby greenspace.

Click on the map or reference the list below to see which neighborhoods are gathering, what’s planned and where you should meet. In addition to the activities outlined, the NLPD and NLFD will plan to stop by as many meetups as their schedule allows.
