Hydrant Flushing Begins in late September 2021

North Liberty’s Water Department will be flushing hydrants throughout town over the next few weeks. Flushing is expected to take 8 to 12 weeks.

Occasionally, flushing can release rust from iron pipes and temporarily discolor the tap water. This is safe, but residents should simply let the water run until it clears.
