City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Get a Jump-Start on Summer with a Free Swim Lesson on June 9

We want everyone to enjoy a fun and safe summer. Get a jump-start with a free swim lesson from our swim instructors in the outdoor pool.

The five Ws

  • Who: Ages 3 to 12 who could benefit from a free beginner swim lesson to teach basic skills and safety tips.
  • What: A free 30-minute group swim lesson. Registration opens April 4.
  • Where: North Liberty outdoor pool
  • When: Thursday, June 9. 50 spots are available in each time slot at 9:30, 10:10 and 10:50 a.m.
  • Why: To prepare swimmers for a safe summer!

The lesson is free but space is limited and registration is required. Sign up at northliberty.recdesk.com by searching “Free Swim Lesson”. One session per child, please. Registration opens April 4.

What to bring

Please arrive 15 minutes before your slot with a swimsuit, towel and anything else your swimmer may need to feel comfortable. Please leave life jackets at home.

Caregivers will not be allowed in the pool, but all our swim instructors will be on hand to supervise and teach participating children.

How to get there

The outdoor pool is connected to the North Liberty Community Center, located at 520 W Cherry St. There is ample parking.
