Commissioners Help Make Community Decisions and You Can Apply Today

Each year, the Mayor and City Council appoint commissioners to the city’s volunteer advisory boards and commissions. The commissions and boards help make decisions about a host of issue facing our community: what can be rezoned, if a variance to code should can be allowed, priorities for public parks and recreational amenities and much more. Volunteers are needed to help lead and advise on those commissions. Applications are due May 25, 2023.

Applications are available online at northlibertyiowa.org or at City Hall. Completed applications can be submitted online or downloaded and submitted mailed to City Hall; c/o City Clerk; P.O. Box 77; North Liberty, IA 52317; in person at City Hall or by email at [email protected]. Iowa State Code requires that cities have gender balance on all boards and commissions.
