There’s still time to choose a recipe from Nadiya’s Everyday Baking cook book, make it at home, and bring it to the library to share with others! Sample recipes that other participants bring as well. Registration is open and required in person at the library where staff will photo copy your chosen recipe from the book.
55+ Connections Lunch

We are on the third Friday of the month and that means Mirabitos! After lunch we will have a few rounds of BINGO (as always, free to play with the chance to win small prizes)! Registration for lunch just $5 and is required for all who attend. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, May 18th. Adults Who Read… expands on traditional adult book clubs by introducing readers to middle age and YA books. In May, we’ll be reading The Secret Garden on 81st Street: A Modern Retelling of the Secret Garden by Ivy Noelle Weir. A few copies will be available at the library for check out!

This program will focus on financial power of attorney, health care power of attorney, living wills and the Final Disposition Act. Lawyers in Libraries is a joint effort by The Iowa State Bar Association, the State Library of Iowa, Iowa Legal Aid and the Polk County Bar Association Volunteer Lawyers Project to help provide free legal information to Iowans across the state. Sponsored by The Iowa State Bar Association Elder Law Section in honor of Older Iowans.
North Liberty Transportation Assistance Program
The focus of the City of North Liberty Transportation Assistance Program (NLTAP) is to assist eligible residents who may–for various reasons–be unable to travel to important destinations in and near North Liberty for essential quality of life services.
