Opioids, Overdose Response & Naloxone Training

North Liberty Library – Meeting Room BCD
Join us as we learn to:
- Identify how opioids affect the brain and lead to disorder.
- Identify risk factors associated with and strategies to reduce opioid overdose.
- Assist someone experiencing an opioid overdose.
- Administer naloxone to reverse an overdose.

55+ Connections Lunch

It’s hard to believe we’re already at the third Friday of September! As usual, our third Friday caterer is Mirabito’s. After lunch join us for BINGO, which is free to play with the chance to win small prizes! Registration for lunch just $5 and is required for all who attend. Celebrate Welcoming Week with live music from the band TURKANA, a free Mediterranean meal and connection with local organizations supporting immigrants in our community. This event is free to attend, no registration required.
Friends of the Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Library book sale is back this fall! Come shop during normal library hours. Cost will be $20/bag (as many as you can fit in the provided bag) or free will donation for small purchases.
