55+ Connections Friday Lunch – Beat the Bitter!

This week we have a very special lunch! In partnership with Beat the Bitter, 55+ Connections Lunch will be free to attend on Friday, Feb. 9 in the North Liberty Library meeting rooms. Guests are invited to bring a side dish or dessert to share if they would like and after lunch we’ll have a game of winter-themed trivia! Registration is still required as space is limited. Reserve a spot online through RecDesk or by calling the (319) 626-5716.

Ride Around the Lights 

Saturday, February 10 

6 – 8 PM 

Liberty Centre Pond – 820 W Cherry St, North Liberty 

Enjoy a complimentary pedicab ride from Pedal Power around North Liberty Lights! 

Rides will depart from under the gazebo at the southeast corner of Liberty Centre Pond. Guests will be provided rides on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations. Each carriage can accommodate two adults or two adults and up to two small children. Tips for the bikers are appreciated, but not required. 

Rides are free thanks to North Liberty’s City Slate

Monday, February 12

North Liberty Rec Center – Classrooms 1 & 2 

CLUB 24 is a program for adults to socialize over University of Iowa Athletics.
Patrons can sign up online, over the phone (319-626-5716), or in person at the Community Center. Patrons must reserve their spot by the proceeding Friday (February 9th) each week. 

This week we’ll be watching: a replay of the Iowa Penn State Wrestling Meet.
Patrons will pay $6 cash day of the program unless they sign up online. Online registration you must pay at checkout. The cost will cover cinnamon rolls from Bluebird Café. Coffee will be provided for participants also. 

Pal-entine’s Day Celebration: Meet the Pets!

Pal-entine’s Day is a global holiday celebrating friendships and all forms of platonic love, so ICSC and the Iowa City Animal Care & Adoption Center are teaming up to highlight the joys of connecting with animal friends! Join us to learn about the pet adoption process, volunteer opportunities, and ways to support the Animal Center. Plus, meet some adoptable pets! Register online or call 319-356-5220.

North Liberty Night at the Iowa Heartlanders

Cheer on the The Iowa Heartlanders during North Liberty Night at Xtream Arena! The puck drops at 6:35 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, when the Iowa Heartlanders face the Indy Fuel. 

Discounted, $15 tickets are available for purchase through this link (tickets normally $23), to help folks enjoy a night out this winter.
