Family & Friends Dementia Education Class

Caring for a loved one with dementia can be challenging, especially when faced with the unknowns of the disease. This free class, presented by staff from Bickford Home Care, will help to offer insight and support to family and friends as they adjust to caregiving for a loved one with dementia. It’s time for China Garden for lunch this week! After lunch we’ll have a special presentation from local musician, travel, and writer, Keith Jaben! North Liberty Bike Swap

North Liberty Rec Center – Gerdin Conference Center (Basement)
A one-day event that connects the community with cycling stuff to sell with people who want to buy it co-hosted by the City of North Liberty and Sugar Bottom Bikes.
Our second year doubles the space and includes local bike shops, enthusiasts looking to unload their old gear, local events and non-profit organizations.
Admission is free to anyone and everyone. Just show up, walk in, and shop some awesome bike stuff! Make sure to show up early before all the good stuff gets picked over! Bring multiple forms of payment including cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, etc. There is an ATM near the front desk.
Euchre Tournament

North Liberty Rec Center – Classrooms 1 & 2 as well as 3 & 4
Join us for our first ever Euchre Tournament at the North Liberty Community Center on February 25th at 11 am. 20 dollars is the cost per team. Only 1 person needs to sign up their team. Snacks and drinks will be provided. We will pay out the top 3 finishers after we take out snack and drinks fees. We will also show the live Iowa Women’s Basketball Game and Iowa Men’s Wrestling Meet during the tournament. Register here. Or call the Rec Center at 319-356-5220.

CLUB 24 is a program for adults to socialize over University of Iowa Athletics.
Patrons can sign up online, over the phone (319-626-5716), or in person at the Community Center. Patrons must reserve their spot by the proceeding Friday (February 23rd) each week.
This week we’ll be watching: a replay of the Iowa Oklahoma State Wrestling Meet.
Patrons will pay $6 cash day of the program unless they sign up online. Online registration you must pay at checkout. The cost will cover cinnamon rolls from Bluebird Café. Coffee will be provided for participants also.
