Road Closure: Penn Street and James Avenue Intentersection

Beginning Monday, May 20, 2024, the intersection of Penn Street and James Avenue will be closed. The closure, to allow Peterson Contractors, Inc, to completely reconstruct the roadway, is expected to last 40 days, with incentives for early completion. This closure is in addition to the closure of Penn Street west of Herky Street.

Traffic will be detoured using Half Moon Avenue, 260th Street, James Avenue, 270th Street, Oakdale Boulevard, Park Road, Forevergreen Road and Kansas Avenue.

Drivers are asked to use caution around the work site, allow extra travel time, and find alternative routes when possible.
