Indoor pool closed

Our indoor pool is, unfortunately closed until further notice. Last night, a motor failed and will need to be replaced. We hope to have a timeline for reopening later in the week of May 13.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall Reopened at 360 N Main St.

City Hall has moved from its previous, leased offices into the new, permanent building at 360 N. Main St. at 7 a.m.

The public can accesses the same services at the new location during the same business hours: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Departments located at the building include Administration, Billing and Finance, Building Inspection, Planning, Community Relations and Human Resources.

A ribbon cutting and open house is planned for Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

After lunch, Chris Nelson, who is the Information Technology Coordinator for the city of North Liberty, will be talking to us about the Technology the City Uses.  Registration for lunch is $5 and required for all who attend. The Friends of the library annual book sale is back this year, shop the sale Thursday, June 13 through Saturday, June 15 during normal business hours in the library. Cost is $20/ bag (as many as you can fit in the provided bag) or free will donation for small purchases.

Do you like to bake? Donate baked goods to the JOI bake sale on Thursday, June 13th by bringing your treats to the library. 

Not much for baking, but love to snack? Come buy some homemade baked goods on June 14th and 15th! The sale will be held in the library during regular hours. All proceeds will be used for supporting North Liberty youths!
