Tuesday, August 6 performance: Join us on the Coralville Public Library Patio for a musical performance by Ashleigh, Shannon and Konnon two Classical Clarinets & a Fresh French Horn.
Tuesday AfterTunes will be moved to the Library Rotunda if there is extreme heat or storms.
55+ Connections: Friday Lunch

North Liberty Rec Center – Classrooms 3 & 4
Hy-Vee is catering this week and they are expected to bring roast beef and carrots. After lunch we’ll have a presentation from Haiming Chen and Tammy Fraser where they will give us a demonstration of Four Hands Taiji (which you might know as “tai chi”). Registration for lunch is $5 and required for all who attend. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, August 1st. Call the Rec Center to register (319)626-5716 or go online to your RecDesk Account and register yourself.

Get the tech help you need at our drop-in session. We’ll be here to assist you with any technical issues you may be facing. Whether you’re struggling with using an app, hardware issues, or just need some general advice, we’ve got you covered. The help session is free and open to all, so feel free to drop by and get the help you need. No registration required.
Voices of Experience Concert: “The Best of Broadway”

Iowa City Senior Center – Assembly Room
Relive some of the brightest and best moments from the musical stage as the Voices of Experience presents The Best of Broadway on Thursday, August 15 at 2 pm in the Senior Center Assembly Room. Join us as we sing snippets from a variety of shows that span decades of theatrical excellence, including selections from The Wiz, Carousel, Annie Get Your Gun, Company, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hello Dolly and many, many more! A reception with light refreshments will follow in the lobby.
Street Dance
Saturday, August 17
5 – 10 PM
Dubuque Street in North Liberty – From Main Street to Front Street
We’re closing down Dubuque Street for a community block party with live music, dancing, beverages, food trucks and games! Gates open at 5 PM (please enter near the Dubuque and Front Street intersection) at the gate and the party goes until 10 PM. There will be live performances from Ingrid Streitz and Trophy Dads. Food will be available for purchase from Elara’s Wood-Fired Pizza, Marco’s Grilled Cheese, Traveling Tom’s Coffee, Red’s Alehouse and J&A Tap. There’s even more fun to be had and you can learn all about it here.
