Last Chances for Outdoor Pool Swimming as Summer Winds Down

As summer nears its close, so does our outdoor pool. Don’t despair; there are still lots of chances to enjoy a swim before the outdoor pool closes for the season on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2023.

The outdoor pool is open weekdays from 12 to 9 p.m. and weekends from 12 to 6 p.m. Once the school year starts on Aug. 23,  the outdoor pool will be closed weekdays. It will be open Aug. 24, 25, 31 and Sept. 1 from 12 to 6 p.m. Due to limited staffing, there may be times when our slides are closed.

In addition to regular hours, our pool hosts the Twilight Swim, celebrate sweet summertime evenings, with $2 admissions from 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 14.

The Penn Meadows Park splash pad is currently closed, but expected to reopen Aug. 26. It will remain open past Labor Day as long as weather allows, but must be winterized before late fall.
