City Welcomes New Neighborhood Ambassador Program Cohort
The City of North Liberty is pleased to welcome a new cohort of residents to the Neighborhood Ambassador program. Established in 2020, the award-winning, newly-refreshed Neighborhood Ambassador program takes a cohort through five sessions between September and May covering topics of community interest, including community safety, planning and zoning, public works, parks, community events and more.
Program participants will tour City facilities and engage in conversations with city staff and community leaders to gain knowledge about the intricacies of city government while developing a strong sense of community with city staff, fellow program participants and a growing network of program alumni. Upon graduation, participants will be considered Neighborhood Ambassadors, and can offer their neighbors insight into how the City operates, help answer questions or direct their neighbors to city staff member who can and connect residents to one other and to community resources.
