North Liberty Library – Meeting Room CD 

Ready to play some card and board games with friends old and new? We’ll be in the meeting rooms ready to play with you! There will be plenty of games available, but if you would like to bring your own to share, you are welcome to do so! 

Join us each week for a social gathering full of activities and friendly conversation – board games, puzzles, art, book discussions, and more! No registration required.

It’s hard to believe the first Friday of October is already upon us, but here we are! Hy Vee will be catering this week and they are scheduled to bring baked chicken and spring salad. After lunch we’ll be playing a few rounds of BINGO. Registration for lunch is $5 and required for all who attend. Participants must register before noon on Thursday, October 3rd. Call the Rec Center to register (319)626-5716 or go online to your RecDesk Account and register yourself.

October 4: The Hidden Life of Trees (2020) 

When Peter Wohlleben published his book “The Hidden Life of Trees” in 2015, he quickly entered bestseller lists. The forester wrote vividly about his experience that trees are able to communicate with each other, a thesis explored in this film. 

Guns into Gardens

Club 24 

Monday, October 7

North Liberty Rec Center 

CLUB 24 is a program for adults and seniors to socialize over University of Iowa Athletics.
Patrons can sign up online, over the phone, or in person at the Community Center. 

On October 7th we’ll be watching the Iowa vs Ohio State game. 

Satellite Voting Dates and Locations 

The Johnson County Auditor’s Office announces early voting opportunities via satellite locations for the Nov. 5, 2024 General Election. Early voting provides residents more opportunity to cast their vote, allows for voting outside normal polling locations, and avoids potential personal conflicts for voting on Election Day. Early and satellite voting locations are open to all Johnson County voters.
