Youth Council Collecting Donations for Mid-year School Supply Drive

The North Liberty Youth Council wants to help North Liberty high school students and teachers finish the school year strong. The group is seeking donations of pens and pencils, markers and highlighters, paper, notebooks, folders, new or gently used backpacks and other common school supply items. Donations collected during this mid-year school supply drive will be distributed to students and teachers at the local high schools.

Find an NLYC donation box and drop off items at the following locations in North Liberty between Dec. 2 and Dec. 18 during regular business hours:

North Liberty Community Center
(box is located in the Rec Center lobby)
520 W. Cherry St.

Area students are also invited to bring items to the NLYC donation boxes at CCA High School, Liberty High School and Regina Junior/Senior High.
