The Summer 2025 Activity Guide is Now Available
The Summer 2025 Activity Guide is now available online, covering recreation, aquatic, library and community programming and events offered May through August 2025. Registration for most recreation programs begins April 7 for North Liberty residents in-person at the Community Center or online.
We offer a monthly newsletter featuring upcoming programming highlights from the Recreation Department, Library and other city departments. Sign up to get it delivered to your inbox at northlibertyiowa.org/subscribe.
Highlights of this guide include:
- City Slate events including Remarkable Rigs, Let Love Fly, our Cardboard Boat Reply, the Street Dance and Taylor Swift (North Liberty’s Version) and more.
- Special events and programs including Swimming with Princesses, swimming storytime, veggie gardening how-tos and Movies on the Plaza at City Hall.
- Ongoing, all-ages offerings such as board game and fishing gear check out, ONE packs, free gym nights and a StoryWalk.
- Programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, including Doodlebugs, library storytimes, Lil Chefs, Pee-Wee Sports and more.
- Programs and activities for school-age youth, including a Youth Superhero Class and Adaptive Group Fitness Class, competitive team basketball leagues, Teen Lit Crate and more.
- Adult Fitness classes, Water Fitness classes, American Red Cross Certification classes and Adult Leagues.
- Programming for adults and seniors including Euchre Club, 55+ Connections, Qigong, and a variety of yoga and martial arts classes and more.
Registration for recreation programs starts April 7 online and in person. To register for recreation programming online, create a RecDesk account and pay by credit card. To register in person, stop by the front desk at the Community Center, 520. W. Cherry St, weekdays between 6 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. and pay with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
